To make sure that our Working Groups did not go in divergent directions, the draft reports of their findings, proposing aims and objectives and ideas for future policies for the planning of Liskeard were brought together in a big ‘visioning’ workshop at the end of July 2015. More volunteers sign up to help with Working Groups
Thirty interested people were present at our Volunteers event on the 27th November, and a few more sent apologies but indicated their continuing interest. First ‘Volunteer Evening’ a quiet success.
On 31st July we held our first Volunteer Evening, intended to bring potential volunteers up to speed on the Plan and explain the roles that could be played. Although the attendance was quite low, (its Summer Holidays!) there was a good discussion of the issues and those present 'signed-up' to help in various ways. Busy Have Your Say Day at Morrisons
Over 150 people recorded their views about the future of Liskeard at our Have Your Say mini-exhibition at Liskeard Morrisons on Saturday 26th July. During a hot and busy shopping day lots of people took an interest, with many spending quite a few minutes to talk about the issues that concern them. The Neighbourhood Plan team and exhibition will be outside Liskeard Morrisons on Saturday 26th July, from, 10 am to 6 pm.
