The four themed Neighbourhood Plan Working Groups have been hard at work researching their subjects and thinking about the objectives and policies that would be best for Liskeard’s future, taking into account all that the community told us in the summer engagement period last year. Various stakeholder events have taken place, including sessions with local builders, walkers & cyclists, developers and such like. The Neighbourhood Plan Working Groups are now finalising their reports, which will be used by the Steering Group to formulate the skeleton of the Neighbourhood Plan.
We have also hosted a survey on the design of the proposed new Wetherspoon’s building in the town centre, and attended the public exhibition put on by Waine Homes on 9th June 2015 about their proposals to build a new housing development on land off Charter Way, near Liskeard Community Hospital.
