Progress Report December 2015 – First Drafts of Working Group Reports studied…
The Steering Group finished the year in early December 2015, with an open meeting and invitation to all Town councillors to see the first drafts of the Working Group reports and be updated on progress. The council also approved the engagement of professional support for the Plan policy drafting activity, utilizing grant funding. Cornwall Local Plan Now Adopted by Cornwall Council
The Cornwall Local Plan has now been formally adopted by Cornwall Council. That means it has full weight in Planning Decisions and helps us to have a Neighbourhood Plan that is effective. Great turnout at Neighbourhood Plan Drop-in Sessions
Over 80 people attended the 'drop-in' session at the Pblic Hall, Liskeard on Tuesday 22nd November, each having a good long conversation with one of our voluntary team members. On Saturday 26th we handed out over 400 leaflets to busy shoppers. Most of the feedback so far has been very positive, with many saying the Neighbourhood Plan is well-balanced and well presented. Progress Report June 2015 – Working groups finalising work
The four themed Neighbourhood Plan Working Groups have been hard at work researching their subjects and thinking about the objectives and policies that would be best for Liskeard's future, taking into account all that the community told us in the summer engagement period last year.
