The Team has expanded, to include active members of the public and representatives from interest groups and organisations, as the work developed and greater interest was shown. In addition, there were also special sub-groups assigned with more detailed tasks, such as carrying out surveys, investigating new ideas and sites, and running events.
Steve Besford-Foster, the Project manager and currently the main contributor to this website, was formerly employed by Caradon District Council in a variety of roles, including planning policy work and service management. He finished his career in local government as the Localism Manager for Cornwall Council, overseeing the activity of the Community Network Areas.
